It's not just for your benefit!  Every meditation you do, every yoga practice, every time you smile it has a ripple effect that can be felt throughout the world.


In a recent yoga class the instructor reminded us of the great work we are doing for the whole world simply by practicing yoga.  This is a great reminder for all of us who consciously choose to heal ourselves through practices such as meditation or yoga.


In a yoga or meditation practice some of the goals are to become more flexible, less rigid, more compassionate and present.  As you navigate your way through the course of your day, this is felt by all those you come in contact with.  As you begin to radiate compassion within, this is felt in all your interactions.


So keep practicing for your own healing and evolution - and be reminded that your presence is felt all around you.
